Frequently Asked Questions
What do I need to wear to class?
Please wear loose and comfortable clothing, including shorts/leggings that preferably cover your knees, have your hair tied back and remove any dangling jewellery.
How long before class should I eat?
I advise that class participants have eaten at least an hour before the class to maximise their benefits from and to feel most comfortable during class.
Can I attend classes with my child(ren)?
Yes. We have Family Yoga classes on a weekly basis and Mum and Daughter classes on a weekly and monthly basis during term time. We'll also be running ad hoc Family Yoga workshops during school holidays.
Do I need to bring my own yoga mat and equipment to class?
No. We provide yoga mats, blankets and all other yoga equipment you need during class. You're also welcome to being your own yoga equipment too and we ask you to let us know.
From time to time we may use additional resources and tools, including paper and pens and we'll let you know if you need to bring anything else to class from time to time.
Do you run classes for Pre-Schoolers?
We aren't currently running Family Yoga classes with Pre-Schoolers as we feel classes for this age group are better suited to a Nursery setting.
Can I attend classes on a Pay as you Go basis?
After attending a Trial Class, you have the option of attending classes on a Pay as you Go Basis and also a discounted Half Termly Block Booking basis.
What is the cut off time for signing up for classes on a Pay as you Go basis?
Classes need to be booked through the WOCY Booking system, accessed via the WOCY Website, Facebook or Instagram, at least 48 hours before classes take place.
The latest time for cancellations, via your booking confirmation or registered account (via Acuity Scheduling, our booking system) is 24 hours before the relevant class
Do you run classes for Schools and Nurseries?
Yes, we run classes for Nurseries, Primary Schools and Secondary Schools during Term Time.
We also specialise in Yoga for Tween and Teen Girls.
